Program kewirausahaan untuk generasi muda Shell LiveWIRE dimulai di Skotlandia, Inggris Raya.
Memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan kepada anak-anak muda usia 16-30 tahun yang mengubah pola pikir, dari mencari pekerjaan menjadi menciptakan lapangan kerja.
Sejak itu, Shell LiveWIRE telah dijalankan di 15 negara di mana Shell mengoperasikan bisnis energinya, termasuk di Indonesia. Program Shell LiveWIRE Indonesia diadaptasi dari tema inti Shell LiveWIRE Internasional yang disesuaikan dengan konteks lokal.
Shell LiveWIRE Indonesia melaksanakan pelatihan Bright Ideas Workshop dan Becoming Successful Owner & Manager Workshop di berbagai universitas di Pulau Jawa dan Bali.
Pelatihan kewirausahaan ini dapat diikuti oleh wirausaha muda yang memiliki ide bisnis atau sedang menjalankan bisnis di berbagai sektor industri seperti industri kreatif, teknologi informasi, agribisnis, kuliner dan lainnya.
Jangkauan geografis program diperluas jangkauannya ke Pulau Sumatera dan Sulawesi pada 2015. Lebih dari 7.000 mahasiswa di berbagai kota di Indonesia telah mengikuti workshop kewirausahaan Shell LiveWIRE dan mendapatkan manfaatnya.
Bisnis-bisnis yang bergabung dalam Shell LiveWIRE semakin bervariasi, beberapa diantara bisnis yang saat itu terbilang masih cukup jarang ditemui adalah bisnis waste management (pengelolaan limbah), urban farming dan sustainable materials.
Shell LiveWIRE di Indonesia berubah bentuk menjadi Energy Solutions, sebuah program yang berfokus pada pengembangan kewirausahaan di bidang energi terbarukan (ET) di Indonesia.
Dukungan kewirausahaan diberikan kepada wirausaha muda berusia 18-35 tahun yang ingin mengembangkan ide ET menjadi sebuah bisnis, juga untuk mereka yang beraspirasi mendorong bisnis ET-nya menjadi bisnis yang berkelanjutan.
Lebih dari 500 ide/bisnis ET dari Indonesia bagian Barat, Tengah dan Timur telah mengikuti seleksi Shell LiveWIRE Energy Solutions sejak tahun 2019. Kurang lebih 30 tim energy start-up dari berbagai propinsi di Indonesia menjalani program pengembangan kapasitas bisnis dan manajemen yang intensif selama 4 bulan dalam Shell LiveWIRE Energy Solutions.
Pengelolaan limbah menjadi biofuel sebagai alternatif bahan bakar memasak di daerah 3T.

Shell Indonesia kembali menggelar acara offline Roadshow to Shell LiveWIRE Energy Solutions (SLW ES) 2024 di Bandung dan Surabaya. Pada tahun ini, Shell Indonesia mengusung tema “Mengubah Tantangan Energi Menjadi Kesempatan Bisnis untuk Generasi Muda”.
